This Rio Flies King Squirrely Muddler pattern is a downsized version of the popular saltwater Kinky Muddler, and has claimed countless large troutbrowns, rainbows, cutties, and brookies measured in pounds, not inches. Its rounded Kinky Muddler head, bulging eyes, and wide collar create a little vortex that animates the squirrel zonker body into a kicking, wiggling motion. Because it is so mobile and looks so much like a little fish, it works its magic whether stripped, swung or even dead drifted, and its a devastating trout spey fly as well. -Johnny King
