The Jig Dee’s Boatman/Backswimmer from JD Flies is a locally tied, bead head jig hook option for this swimming, air breathing insect. A krystal flash tail mimics released air bubbles while swimming. The peacock herl body and sexi floss legs make up the rest of this fly along with a bead head for weight that orients the fly hook point up.
